Founder Vikram Kalia
Hailing from Udaipur Rajasthan, Vikram’s experience started quite early in life. Just to get hands-on experience on what it is to work like, Vikram at the age of 15 joined a company making floppy diskettes for the summer vacation job. During college days, the era when pocket money was not a concept, Vikram started selling leather shoes tying up with a local cobbler, and creating a style that was like commando shoes. The sales gave enough to pay for the fuel and canteen bills of the college for himself and his friends.
As a keen learner, motivator, and leader Vikram has led many renowned brands to newer heights. Having worked in Brands like Amkette, Marico, Luminous, Intex, Transsion (itel) & Zebronics and with over three decades of extensive experience in sales & marketing, product development & management, vendor development, manufacturing, and International markets Vikram says, the professional journey has been very fulfilling.
In hearts of hearts, there was always a deep appetency to start his own company and a brand. And so Kipenzi. Vikram visualizes Kipenzi, as not only making waves in India but in overseas markets as well. Spiritual at heart Vikram can relate with humans and animals at the same level with love, empathy, compassion, and kindness.
Founder, Neetal Kalia
With over 8 years of experience in marketing, Neetal’s journey is driven by a passion for making a difference. After gaining valuable insights from startups, she decided to leave the grind to dedicate herself to a mission close to her heart—making the lives of pet parents easier.
But Neetal’s commitment to positive change started long before her venture into pet supplies. Straight out of college, she launched a business to provide meaningful job opportunities for transgenders and women sex workers, showing her unwavering belief in uplifting marginalized communities.
Neetal’s love for animals is the core of her journey. A devoted pet parent herself, she has fostered 7 cats, and a squirrel, and provided boarding for over 20 cats and dogs. Over the years, her family has included a dog, two rabbits, and four birds, and she is currently a proud mom to two cats. Her deep bond with animals has shaped her life’s work—turning her passion into a purpose that extends beyond business.
